Wren Kasabian · Systems & Interface Engineer · Lisbon, UTC+1

I build the unglamorous layer — schedulers, sync engines, and the dense operator consoles that sit on top of them. Fourteen years of making machines legible to the people who run them.

— profile —

Currently principal engineer at Hollowpine Systems, where I own the replication core behind a fleet-management product used by 41,000 field technicians. Before that: six years on payments infrastructure, two on an open-source terminal multiplexer nobody asked for and 30,000 people now use daily.

My work tends to look like a table. I am fine with that. The best interface for a person who already knows their domain is a dense, honest one — no carousels, no progressive disclosure of things they need every single day.
