Nightshift Audio · Live Console

Two decks,
one crossfade.

A working console for the Nightshift residency — beat-matched previews, cue markers pulled from the crate, and a fader that decides who is loudest.

Booth notes

How we run the room

Nightshift is a small residency in a low-ceilinged basement with one good subwoofer and a very forgiving crowd. The console is built around three rules.

  • 01
Never mix two bass lines. The low handoff happens on one motion of the fader, not two.
  • 02
Pitch stays inside ±4%. Past that the drums lose their weight and the room feels it before it hears it.
  • 03
Every cue point earns its place. If a marker hasn't been used in three sessions, it gets deleted.
