Launch readiness poll

Twelve stations report to Flight. A single NO-GO stops the count at the next hold point; a HOLD may be cleared by the responsible discipline before T−00:10:00.

10 GO · 1 HOLD · 1 NO-GO

GSE reports umbilical retract 0.3 s over spec. Flight has called a built-in hold at T−00:10:00 pending a second actuation test.

Terminal count events

Each event carries an owner, an abort criterion and a recycle path. Nothing on this list is advisory.

T−00:45:00 · PAD

Crew ingress complete, hatch closed for flight

White room team clears the tower. Cabin leak check runs for nine minutes against a 0.02 psi/min criterion. A failed check recycles to T−01:10:00 with a 42-minute window remaining.

Built-in hold, twenty minutes

Clock stops. Weather takes a fresh sounding, GSE reruns the umbilical actuation, and the flight director reconciles any open constraint. This hold absorbs schedule risk without costing window.

Final go / no-go poll

All twelve stations report on the loop in fixed order. Flight calls the count. From this point the vehicle transitions to internal power and the ground crew has no path back to the pad.

Autosequence start

Ground control hands the count to the vehicle. Human intervention is reduced to a single abort command. Tank pressurisation ramps to flight levels and the flight termination system arms.

Go for launch

Final verbal release. Strongback retracts to sixty degrees, water deluge floods the flame trench, and the pad transitions to unattended state.

Ignition sequence and thrust build

Nine engines light in a staggered 300 ms pattern. The vehicle holds down until all chambers report above 92 % of rated thrust; anything short triggers a pad-safe shutdown before release.

Request a loop credential

Observer credentials grant read-only access to the Meridian flight loop and the archived telemetry wall for LS-092. Credentials expire ninety minutes after landing.

Requests are reviewed by Range Security. Median turnaround 6 hours.

Loop transcript, last hour

  • FLIGHTAll stations, this is Flight. Poll three complete. GSE is no-go, weather is hold. We will take the built-in hold at T minus ten.
  • GSEFlight, GSE. Retract came in at one point seven. We want a second actuation before we call go.
  • WXFlight, weather. Shear layer is thinning but still marginal. Ask for one more sounding.
  • RCVYKestrel is on station, sea state two point one, we are go.
  • RANGESurface traffic is clear, corridor is clean out to two hundred nautical miles.
