Note 01
Assemble downward
Work top to base with the body inverted. The burr stack self-centres once the axle passes the upper bearing — never force the collar past its detent.
Halden & Co. — Field Instruments / Exploded Assembly
Fourteen machined components on a single vertical axis. Every one of them is replaceable at the kitchen table with the 2.5 mm hex key taped inside the lid — no adhesives, no press fits, no proprietary fasteners anywhere in the stack.

All bearings run dry by design. Oil migrates into the grind chamber within four weeks and will taint every dose afterwards. Brush only.
