* The % Daily Value (DV) tells you how much a nutrient in a serving of this beverage contributes to a daily diet. 2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice. Values are calculated from the reference amounts in the table below and rounded to the nearest whole percent.
† No Daily Value has been established for caffeine. Measured by HPLC on three cans drawn at random from each batch; batch 21-B averaged 118 mg with a spread of ±9 mg.

Method & rounding
04 / 05How the numbers were made
Three cans per batch are pulled at random off the line and homogenised. Macronutrients are measured by proximate analysis; minerals by ICP-MS; caffeine by HPLC. Nothing on this panel is calculated from a supplier spec sheet alone.
Fats under 5 g are reported to the nearest 0.5 g. Sodium above 5 mg is reported to the nearest 5 mg. Percentages are computed before rounding, then rounded once.
Why we print the whole thing
A regulated panel is one of the few pieces of design that has to tell the truth in a fixed order. We liked the constraint enough to build the entire site out of it — the rules, the indents, the tiny footnote block, the stubborn tabular figures.
Change the servings control and watch every figure move together. That is the only animation on this page.

Every new lot gets a fresh assay and a fresh panel. We email the diff — only the lines that moved.
