A particle has no memory of where it has been.

Each point in this field carries three numbers: a position, a velocity, and a stubbornness. Nothing else. There is no leader, no target, no schedule. When your pointer arrives, every point within its radius is nudged — outward if you move fast, inward if you hover — and the shape you read as intention is only ten thousand small refusals to hold still.

We publish these notes because the same arithmetic keeps turning up in places that should not share arithmetic: starling murmurations over Rome, order books at open, the way a crowd finds a door.

Node 02 Cohesion Lab report

Three rules, no negotiation.

Cohesion, separation, alignment. Reynolds wrote them down in 1986 and forty years later nobody has needed a fourth. What changes is the weighting — and the weighting is where the personality lives.
