The bureau in figures
Every block below snaps to the grid as it enters the frame. Nothing floats.
Grotesques, mostly. We believe a neutral letter carries a loud idea further.
Wayfinding reads the same in every language when the arrow is honest.
We would rather ship the work than judge it. Modesty is a design decision too.
Twelve divides cleanly into halves, thirds and quarters. It is the only ruler we keep on the wall. Set once, obeyed forever.

Start from the grid
Before a single word is set, the page is divided. Structure is not a cage — it is the shortest route from confusion to clarity.

Primary color only
Red, blue, yellow and black. Four voices are enough to say anything worth saying. Everything in between is hesitation.

Reduce, then reduce
If an element can be removed without loss, it was never doing work. We delete until the design begins to break — then step back one move.

The type does the talking
Set it large, set it flush, set it honest. A grotesque at the right size needs no illustration to be understood across a room.

Whitespace is not empty
The margin is a design element with a job. We measure the silence around a mark as carefully as the mark itself.

Ship it, then defend it
A decision unshipped is only an opinion. We commit in ink, print it big, and answer for every choice we made.
A poster should stop a stranger at forty paces and still reward them at arm's length.
