MEANDER Liquid Image Studio

Images kept in motion.

We photograph nothing. Every surface here is drawn in code, then taught to yield like water. Rest a cursor on a plate and the pigment swells to meet you — a displacement that rises on approach and settles in its own quiet time.

Hover a plate — or focus it with Tab — to disturb the surface.

On making pictures that do not sit still.

Method

No cameras, no scans. Each plate is a small program — gradients, arcs and lattices — resolved crisply so the water reads as a gesture over it, never as noise.

The disturbance

A turbulence field displaces every plate through a single SVG filter. The scale springs up as you approach and eases down as you withdraw, carrying one soft ripple of follow-through.
